Gouldian Billabong by Tania Chanter is an original impressionist abstract inspired the Australian landscape and wildlife. ‘I watched the gouldians dancing through the summer sky like self propelled darts, occasionally flicking their wings as they thrust themselves towards ever moving invisible targets, then returning to the softened weave of their nest’. This new series explores the relationship between birds and the Australian landscape. Layered acrylics and ink on a texture base.
